The numbers are in for the month of October and the ten hottest markets include five California cities. San Francisco made the top pick for the second consecutive month. The other hot markets are Vallejo, Carlsbad, San Jose, and Stockton.

The holidays are just around the corner and this could be the perfect time to sell a house. Sellers want to avoid adding hazards as they decorate their house and yards. Electric cords, lighting, lawn decorations, and hazards on the roof should be avoided.

The Realtor Association recently reported that a new front door is one of the best home improvements you can make. The ROI for a new steel door is over 91% and the ROI for a fiberglass door is over 82%.
