  • Stretch and Move Naturally New
    $75.00

    TBD
Stretch and Move Naturally is a 12-session movement and stretching program designed to create a consistent, practical routine that can be used throughout everyday life. Each session follows the same complete sequence, giving participants the opportunity to become increasingly familiar with the movements while exploring different ways to stretch, move, reach, bend, turn, and transition comfortably. Rather than introducing a completely different routine in every class, the program builds familiarity through repetition while allowing each session to develop greater awareness, control, confidence, and understanding.

Every class moves through the full Stretch and Move routine. The sequence begins with getting started and waking up the body before progressing through movements involving reaching, bending, turning, stretching, posture, alignment, sitting, standing, and everyday movement. The routine continues through moving with ease, finding a natural rhythm, and bringing the individual elements together. Because the complete sequence is practiced during every session, participants have repeated opportunities to become comfortable with the order and flow of the program.

The first sessions establish the foundation. Stretch and Move begins with an introduction to the complete routine, followed by movements that encourage awareness from head to toe. Reaching, bending, and turning are incorporated into the sequence, along with stretches that address the body as a whole. As the sessions continue, attention can shift toward how the body is positioned and aligned during movement and how familiar actions such as sitting, standing, reaching, and rotating fit naturally into the overall routine.

The middle sessions provide opportunities to explore Stretch and Move through everyday movement. Participants work through the entire routine while considering how movement patterns relate to activities performed throughout the day. Posture and alignment become part of the sequence, along with reaching and rotating. The emphasis is on developing familiarity with the complete progression rather than learning isolated movements.

As participants advance through the program, Stretch and Move becomes increasingly familiar. Repetition allows the sequence to become easier to recognize and follow, while the individual movements can be performed with greater attention to personal technique and comfort. The routine provides a framework that can be revisited beyond the classroom and incorporated into regular daily habits.

The final sessions bring the complete Stretch and Move sequence together. Participants continue to move through every component while exploring their own natural rhythm and preferred pace. The final class focuses on putting the routine together and establishing a practical sequence that participants can continue using independently.

Across all 12 sessions, Stretch and Move provides a structured approach to stretching and movement that develops through consistency rather than constant change. Each class revisits the complete routine, allowing participants to recognize familiar movements, build continuity from one session to the next, and develop a stronger understanding of how the pieces work together.

Stretch and Move is ultimately about establishing a routine that can become a familiar part of everyday life. Through 12 complete sessions, participants repeatedly practice the same overall progression while developing greater familiarity with stretching, movement, posture, transitions, and everyday physical actions. The result is a practical, repeatable routine that can continue beyond the program.
