I have always loved science fiction especially the movies, and books that deal with the end of the world. I love zombie stories, however, I like the ones where some alien race comes down to wipe the planet clean and steal our natural resources. The problem with this however, is that almost all those stories (Independence Day, War of the Worlds etc.....) they all end the same way. The hero wins and everyone needs to rebuild the world. Why do these aliens always come to Earth looking for natural resources? They seem to have surpassed the need for fuel, don’Äôt you think? ? With Pure I decided to write an end of the world story, involving aliens, where they don’Äôt need our natural resources. The ending will be the best surprise yet. Think Dan Brown’Äôs ’ÄòAngels and Demons’Äô that kind of ending.PURE
