Diminished?(Shannon’Äôs Poem) ?Written by: ?Seth William Reiber??1?Blind and Lost I see my life finally found.?Curious and Empty I find my heart whole.?Mendacious and Weak is the truth I keep telling myself .?The Shadows bring light to my feelings.?Diminished and Insipid are the versatility of my actions.?Isn't my life wonderful.??I am an Innocent ruled by the corruption of my own mind, ?forcing me to believe that this life is perfect.?Blind and Lost, Curious and Empty, Mendacious and Weak,?The Shadows only show me of what I am?I am Diminished and Insipid without you??Hopelessly Ignorant, I am truly lost?My purpose in life is obscure?My reason for living is indistinct?Eternally imprisoned by my mind I find sanity is your portrait?My life is enshrouded in the pain and joy of memories of you??2?All my life I've loved you?Both close to you, and now from far away?Without you my life is a lie, that I keep trying to believe?I tell others I love them, when I know I cannot?I left you behind to fall and fail without me?Yet I did not know the paradox of what I had done??I promise to come home to you my love?I promise to see you again?I promise to show you how much I love you?I promise to never leave you behind again?I promise to make you smile , and laugh everyday?I promise to marry you.?I am nothing without you, I am empty inside without you.??3?Having never touched you before?My senses cascade with passion when we finally kiss?Your touch makes me emanate affections I’Äôve never known?15 years I’Äôve know you, 15 years I’Äôve loved you?15 years seethed down to one instant, our first kiss??Every kiss thenceforth, vindicated more love than the last?So much so, it made our body's join to unconsciousness?The weight that followed our kiss, brought forth our primitive notions?As we both, swayed by years of yearning, finally made love.??So very soon I’Äôll be home, back...right where I belong?You’Äôll see why I’Äôve cherished you for so long?My fixation of you will be revealed with a welcome home hug?Our life together will be prodigious rather than plain?everyone will see our love emanating from our very smiles?Every morning will be unbelievably extraordinary.??All these promises and left behinds if only I could see, ?in my nothing you mean everything to me
